Removing paint stains
To tackle water-based latex, acrylic, emulsion and school paint stains, rinse wet stains under running water then wash with Ariel Automatic Power Gel according to the fabric care label. For dried paints and those that are oil or varnished based, sponge carefully with white spirit or a proprietary paintbrush cleaner (apply in small amounts, and test on a small area before proceeding) before washing.
Removing tar and oil stains
Scrape off as much of the stain as possible. Soften the remainder with margarine or butter and wipe away with a clean cloth. Treat any residual stain with a proprietary tar cleaner then wash with Ariel Automatic Power Gel according to the fabric care label.
Removing daily grime
Daily wear soon leaves collars and cuffs with a layer of dirt that can seem hard to shift. Give your clothes a new lease of life by pre-treating any dirty areas with Ariel Automatic Power Gel and leaving for 10 minutes. Then wash as normal with Ariel Automatic Power Gel.
