How to remove fruit stains from clothes

Fruit may be good for you and taste great, but they can make a mess. Being made up of natural dye pigments, grease stains and enzymatic stains, it’s best to treat fruit stains with a detergent that breaks up the sugars and proteins, removes pigmentation, and lifts off the greasy components embedded in the fabric fibres. Since cherry stains, grape stains, peach stains, orange stains and plum stains are not created equal, you need a detergent like Ariel with a powerful blend of enzymes, bleaching agents and a combination of surfactants for effective fruit stain removal in the 1st wash. Watch our step by step guide on how to get fruit stains out of clothes, or read the instructions below.

    Pre-treat

Spread the washing detergent over the fruit stain using the pre-treat cap. The flexible fins of the cap can help distribute the washing liquid over the surface of the stain, as well as helping to work the washing detergent right into the material’s fibres.

Without washing off the washing detergent, place the garment into the washing machine along with other similar items. Leaving the washing liquid on the fruit stain will boost your wash performance.
