How to remove egg stains

Egg stains are mostly made up of protein stains. If you spill some egg down your top, treat it as soon as possible with cold water, as hot water will cook the proteins in the stains and can cause the spot to coagulate between the fibres of the fabric. It’s best to remove egg stains using a washing detergent that contains enzymes, like Ariel, to help break up the egg proteins and lift off the egg stain.
